Welcome

to the Homepage of the IES Network, the student organization for Infonomics & Economics Students of the University Maastricht!

Five years after its inception, the IES Network is striving to continue the success of the last years in enhancing the student life of Infonomics and Economics students.

The network consists of a bit more than 300 members which are either Infonomics or Economics students. 2010 these students are drawn from 15 nationalities whereas in total seventy-five percent come from abroad. One-quarter of our students are Master and PhD students while the rest are Bachelor students.

Our network’s portfolio consists of such interesting activities as guest lectures, workshops, career days, company visits and city trips. We also offer a skills course in form of a two week excursion to a foreign country which is officially included in the curriculum of the university. Moreover, we organize social activities for active members as well as for students in general. Recently we also launched a magazine, which can be found under resources.

Take a look around our website to see what we have to offer. We know that our website shows some deficit, so if you notice any failures, please let us know.
We gladly welcome you to take part in our activities and events and are always looking for new ideas and helping hands.

Please do also visit us on our Facebook page!

For Members: You can find more info on our ELEUM page.
